Plenty work done by PM to improve lifestyle of J&K people: Sat

Fulfilling long pending demand of locals, Former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West along with Corporator Ward 40 Neelam Nargotra started works for construction of deep drains at Kamla Palace road. A large number of people including officials of JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation), Mandal President BJP Keshav Chopra, District General Secretary BJP Rajesh Gupta, local residents and political activists of the area were also present.

The works will be done at an estimated cost of Rupees 11.40 lakhs and the funds were provided to the Corporator for the purpose of this work.

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the works for construction on this road was taken up sometime back as this road which connects Akhnoor road to Talab Tillo was in a very shabby condition earlier and thousands of commuters pass through this road daily. After the works on construction of road was done, now the pending works including construction of Deep Drains has been taken up with the efforts of the local Corporator and concerned department which will provide relief and a clean atmosphere to a large number of inhabitants living in the area. He stated that development is the priority for BJP and under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, every nook and corner of J&K is being developed to its fullest. With efforts of PM, Lakhs of families who were living without a Pucca house since independence were provided with a Pucca house in UT and in Jammu West also, the benefits of PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) has been provided to many people, he said. He also stated that not only this but other Central sponsored schemes of the Modi Government were implemented at grass root level and we can confidently say that plenty of work has been done to improve the lifestyle of people living in Jammu West.

Neelam Nargotra also congratulated the masses for starting a major work in the ward and said that with the efforts of Former MLA many works were done which solved the problems of the masses. She said that the public has hailed the work of completion of all roads, setting of new transformers and other works in the Ward which were done with the efforts of Former MLA. She also talked about the works to be taken up in the ward and stated that booth wise benefits have been provided to the needy in the ward.

Keshav and Rajesh also talked about the development done in various spheres by BJP and Former MLA which gave a major boost to infrastructural development in the Constituency.
